Curly birch – the tree pressed by the devil

I'm grateful to see my Forest Glow lights featured at the Craft Museum of Finland as part of the exhibition "Curly Birch - The Tree Pressed by the Devil."

Recently I had the chance to visit the exhibition in person, and it was wonderful to see the thoughtful presentation and the story of curly birch brought to life. This remarkable Finnish material, known for its unique grain and durability, has inspired craftspeople and designers for generations.

If you're interested in Finnish design, craftsmanship, or natural materials, I warmly recommend visiting the exhibition. It is open until 30 August 2026.

A heartfelt thank you to Mikko Oikari at the Craft Museum of Finland and Markku Tonttila for your support and for making this exhibition possible
